This bench is modeled after a traditional Korean storage jar. 

It's called 항아리(Hang-ari).

This is a Maetdol (a traditional Korean millstone).

Historically, Koreans used this tool to grind grains and beans.

Even today, many authentic Korean restaurants still use it to preserve traditional flavors.

It’s a compact space with tables close to each other,

but that gives it a delightfully friendly, traditional Korean atmosphere.

 

 

 

Fair warning: the kimchi here has a heavy garlic kick,

so you might end up with garlic breath after eating.

This is Dongchimi (Dong-chee-mee)

a clear soup and non-spicy radish kimchi made without chili powder

offering a crisp, refresh like pickle!

 

 

 

The dish we’ve all been waiting for: Hangari Sujebi.

The soup is served in a traditional earthenware jar that holds heat for a long time

keeping your food warm throughout the meal.

Just note that this dish requires a minimum of 2 orders.

 

 

 

Unlike machine noodles, each piece of dough is hand-kneaded and torn by hand.

Super chewy and comforting!

 

The broth is made entirely from seafood, so it’s a great option if you eat fish but skip meat.
